I know you could care less and probably enjoyed not having to skirt around scheduled games on TV, but...
For those diehard rootie, toot, tooting (paint your face the team colors) fans...
...in those famous words " IT'S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA!!"

Also, in the news...
There is an inquiry into queue jumping in Alberta. The accusation is that there are certain people in the health care system who are able to receive preferential treatment due to who they are or who they know.
Dah!
When did this occur to the powers that be? Come on! Grow up!
Us common folk have known for years that certain people get preferential treatment for any number of reasons. Anyone who has worked in or has known someone who works in the health care system, probably knows of actual instances of queue jumping.
And let's get real...
It happens everywhere, in every walk of life...
Yes, it does!!
If you know the right people or you have the power then; you simply receive preferred seating at "full" restaurants, favoured tickets to "sold out" events, no waiting in lines, etc, etc...
...and yes, queue jumping in health care (whether anyone admits or not)!
This inquiry is a grand waste of taxpayers money. Come on guys, use your time and resources to achieve something useful.

One more thing...
Convicted animal killer, Kayla Bourque, is being released on probation to live in Vancouver. Doctors have diagnosed her as a sexual sadist with anti-social personality disorder and sociopath tendencies.
Scary or what? She has shown no remorse and admits to dreaming of killing homeless people. The probation is extremely strict and will use every means possible to control the situation. But...
this is an evil person who is only 23 years old. Can she be closely montored for her entire life?
For the sake of all animals and people, I sure hope so...
I just wonder why she couldn't be locked up in a high security mental ward rather the set loose on a unsuspecting public???
