Life can change in a heartbeat. I know this. You know this. Yet, we forget between heartbeats, don't we? Until...
some life altering event happens to someone we know; then we stop short and think...
"That could have happened to me."
"I remember when that DID happen to me."
"Why do things like this have to happen?"
You get the picture.

I had a thought...Hmmmm...
what if suddenly every weight loss program, motivational conference, AA meeting, drug rehab program and church service became 100% successful 100% of the time?
Would they run out of people to rehabilitate or reform?
Would they go eventually go broke and/or out of business due to lack of participation?
Would the folks who chose not to seek help for their issues feel pressured to join in or just eventually die off from heart disease, a drug overdose, alcoholism etc.
What would the world look like as a slimmed down, healthy, drug free, successful and morally responsible version of itself?
Hmmmm...just thinking.

Here's some questions to think about when you have an idle moment...
1. Can a storm be officially designated as a tornado without touching down at a
trailer park?
2. Can atheists get insurance for acts of God?
3. How can something be 'new and improved'? If it's new what was it improving on?
4. How can there be a limited lifetime warranty?
5. How come when you are driving through a neighborhood looking for an address, you
turn the radio down?
And last, but not least..
6. How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?

That's it, that's all! Have a Happy Tuesday!
I had an idle moment...
ReplyDelete1- yes torandos can happy without going through a trailer park, or they happen that way here...
2- just cause you don't believe i something doesn't mean it does or doesn't exist or happen so yes I have insurance against acts of god
3- no clue on this one like you said if its new how can it be improved??
4- limited lifetime: only good while certain parts are still good?
5- good point, to hear the GPS voice better? to better focus on the house numbers?
And last, but not least..
6- He parks his plow at home...and usually he ends up working thru the night to stay ahead of the storm when hes already at work when morning comes along...
Good answers, lol
